Join the GLB psychotherapy group at M.U.S.I.C.
2008-07-04 - The McGill University Sexual Identity Centre is running a psychotherapy group for GLB people who are interested in looking at the ways they relate to others and changing the behaviours they feel aren’t working for them.
You’re out, you’re proud but you’re still not happy! what now? Having trouble with family, friends and/or lovers? what do you do?
Everyone has patterns of relating. Maybe yours isn’t working for you.
The McGill University Sexual Identity Centre is running a psychotherapy group for gay, lesbian and bisexual women and men who are interested in looking at the ways they relate to others and changing the behaviours they feel aren’t working for them. Through their interactions with other members in the group, each member will learn to improve her/his individual relational style.
We offer a Women's only, a Men’s only and a Mixed psychotherapy group. They will each be 1½ hours and run weekly from October to June, with the possibility of rejoining a group the following year. Two therapists will be working with each group in a gay-affirmative insight-oriented psychotherapy approach.
We are collecting names now for our information sessions in September 2008.
If you’re interested, call 514.934.1934 ext. 43585 and specify interpersonnal group psychotherapy.
