Extremely touching story Jonathan. I had no idea lbgt youth can go through that. But then again, I wasn’t as courageous or comfortable as you when it came to my sexuality. I commend you Jonathan
Sounds like your childhood sucked.
I’m still in high school.
but it seems to have hit my peers alot easier than it did for you.
I hid my sexuality for many years, i was afraid that what happened to you would be the same reaction i got.
but finally i opened up to a few of my friends and they were accepting, i still have yet to tell my family, and i don’t think i’ll ever be able to.
My parents aren’t exatly the most accepting people there is in the world…
My sister would probably accept it. but i don’t want to take the chance.
I just want to be able to finish highschool to go to montreal and start a new life without family and only friends to aide me.
After all, everyone has a family, but not everyone has great friends.
