How can I find more women that I may be attracted to?

I am a 16 year old lesbian female. I act very feminine but the only girls that I seem to like are very masculine. How can I find more women that I may be attracted to? – Amanda

There are many different ways that you can meet people that you like. Since you are 16, I would begin by looking into community organizations in your area that offer services to gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans youth (GLBT). Sometimes local GLBT organizations offer drop in centers, or listening lines, or different discussion groups that will provide you with the opportunity to meet people like yourself.

Another option, if you feel comfortable, would be to inquire through your school social worker or guidance counselor they have resources that you may not be aware of. If you live in a city sometimes they have local listings of GLBT events taking place that you could be a part of. I hope these suggestions help.
