Since the beginning AlterHeros has welcomed dynamic post-secondary students seeking internships to complete their study programs by gaining concrete community service experience. They have offered an important contribution to our organization. Thus, AlterHeros welcomed Lauryn Kronick from Concordia University as the director of information.
Lauryn holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and was doing her internship with us as part of her course on the history of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Her hard work in November for the Image Nation GLBT film festival was impressive. Lauryn gave us many more hours of work than required by her internship: this helped AlterHeros get a very good coverage of the GLBT film festival.
